Please, let us tell you a little bit about our program:

AGES:
*Our leaders strive to teach the Bible to youth, beginning from 6th Grade all the way through their College/Early Adult Years.

SUNDAY SCHOOL:
*Wolf Creek Baptist Church teens and young adults meet for Sunday School in three separate groups.  The Jr. High (6-8th Grades) gather together in one class, as the High Schoolers (9-12th Grades) meet in another class, and finally the College/Young Adult class meets in a separate area.  It is during this time that our Youth Group follows the curriculum that has been prayerfully chosen by their leaders for that quarter of the year.

SUNDAY EVENINGS:
*It is the goal of the youth leaders to make sure every teen has studied the entire Bible during their time in the Solid Rock Youth Group.  They accomplish this goal by meeting on Sunday evenings during regular meeting times, and studying a chapter from a specific book of the Bible, until that book has been completed.   When a teen comes to the end of their time in the WCBC youth program, hopefully they will have a working knowledge of Scripture, and a understanding of the Bible that has come from several years of in-depth study.

WEDNESDAY EVENINGS:
*Wednesday evening Youth gatherings focus on the issues that many of our young people face today.  Taught from a Biblical perspective, our Youth learn the tools that are needed to carry their faith into everyday situations at school, in sports, at home, and in the community.

Other Youth Ministry Opportunities:

Throughout the year, our Youth Group attends various conferences in an effort to learn more about Jesus, and join with others their age to worship Him.

Volunteering

The teens in our Youth Group are also encouraged throughout the year to volunteer their time in various situations that may arise.   From passing out free waters at community events, to volunteering at the TN Baptist Children's Home, the Solid Rock Youth Group stays active and learns real ways to help with the needs of others around them.
